You can order a repeat prescription by:

  • Telephone
Please telephone the practice in the afternoon if you are ordering a repeat prescription. This lessens the volume of telephone calls during the busy morning hours, allowing us to attend to calls from any urgently ill patients efficiently.
  • Written Request
Dropping/posting a Prescription Order Form or written request to reception. Please print and fillout this form.
  • Electronically
You can complete an Online Prescription Order Form.

Please note that prescriptions will be filled after review and can be collected from the office 48 hours after receipt Monday – Friday. Please inform us if someone other than the patient will be collecting the prescription.

We want to provide you with the best quality medical care. This includes the way medicines are prescribed.

  • We try to prescribe antibiotics only when necessary.
  • We try not to prescribe medication with an addictive potential (unless absolutely necessary).
  • We might invite you to attend a Medication Review if we have not seen you in some time and you remain on long term medicines. Some types of medication require you to be seen regularly. These medical reasons can be explained to you.

We will always endeavour to discuss fully the prescribing choices we face during your visit and keep you informed on what monitoring, if any, your medications require.
